Job Description

Job ID: MJ000395

About Traveloka

Traveloka is Southeast Asia's leading travel and lifestyle super-app. We connect tens of millions of travellers across the region with flights, hotels, experiences, financial services, and more — all from a single platform. Since our founding in 2012, we have expanded to eleven markets, processed billions of dollars in transactions, and built one of the most recognised consumer brands in the region.

We move fast because the region demands it. Southeast Asia is young, mobile-first, and growing faster than almost anywhere else on earth. We are not transplanting a Western playbook — we are writing a new one, from scratch, for a market that does not look like anywhere else — and we are calling for people who want to be part of that.

About the Team

Corporate IT is the backbone that keeps thousands of Travelokans productive and secure across 11 markets — owning the internal systems, endpoints, networks, and infrastructure that the whole company runs on. From managed services and IT operations to network, communications, and infrastructure, we make technology invisible when it works and resilient when it matters most. We support a workforce that never stops, in a region where scale and speed are the norm, not the exception.

Here you operate hands-on across a real, diverse environment — not a slide deck. You will harden networks, sharpen service experience, and solve problems that thousands of people feel the moment they hit. If you want your work to be felt every single day by the people building Southeast Asia's leading travel super-app, this is your team.

About the Job

As an IT Operations Engineer, you will be a key contributor responsible for the health, visibility, and integrity of Traveloka’s internal IT environment. Your primary focus will be managing the lifecycle of corporate IT assets and conducting log analysis to ensure system reliability and proactive issue detection. Operating as an individual contributor, you will take ownership of routine operations, incident investigation, and baseline automation to keep our infrastructure compliant and efficient.

  • Asset Management Ownership: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of hardware and software assets across the regional fleet—tracking allocation, compliance, refresh cycles, and decommissioning.
  • Log Analysis & Monitoring: Review, parse, and analyze system and endpoint logs (using SIEM, ELK, or native log viewers) to identify anomalies, troubleshoot root causes, and catch operational issues early.
  • Basic Automation: Write simple scripts to automate repetitive daily tasks, such as asset data syncing, report generation, or basic system configuration tasks.
  • Incident Resolution: Investigate and resolve operational tickets and security log alerts, working across endpoint and identity tools to ensure seamless fixes.
  • Process & Compliance Optimization: Audit asset inventory regularly against compliance policies and log data to eliminate coverage gaps or untracked devices.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear asset inventories, logging procedures, and basic operational runbooks for the team.

Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in IT operations, system administration, or technical support.
  • Proven experience managing IT Asset Management (ITAM) systems, inventory tracking, hardware/software lifecycle management, and compliance auditing.
  • Practical ability to write simple scripts (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) to automate manual data collection or routine administrative tasks.
  • Understanding of basic security concepts, least privilege access, and audit trail requirements.
  • Clear verbal and written English communication skills to document processes and collaborate across regional teams.
  • Degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent
