Job Description

Job ID: MJ000390

About Traveloka

Traveloka is Southeast Asia's leading travel and lifestyle super-app. We connect tens of millions of travellers across the region with flights, hotels, experiences, financial services, and more — all from a single platform. Since our founding in 2012, we have expanded to eleven markets, processed billions of dollars in transactions, and built one of the most recognised consumer brands in the region.

We move fast because the region demands it. Southeast Asia is young, mobile-first, and growing faster than almost anywhere else on earth. We are not transplanting a Western playbook — we are writing a new one, from scratch, for a market that does not look like anywhere else — and we are calling for people who want to be part of that.

About the Team

Treasury is where Traveloka's cash actually moves. Across eleven markets and a dozen currencies, you manage liquidity, funding, FX exposure, and banking relationships so the business can invest with confidence and never get caught short. In a low-margin industry, the difference between idle cash and well-deployed capital is real money — and this team owns that edge.

You will not be a back-office function processing payments. You forecast cash with precision, hedge exposures across Southeast Asia's most volatile currencies, structure funding for growth, and partner directly with leaders on how capital gets allocated. If you want treasury work with genuine scale, multi-market complexity, and visible impact on the bottom line, you will find it here.

About the Job

As part of Treasury Middle Office, you will maintain cash forecasts and help plan funding across multi-entities. You will work with business and finance teams to understand upcoming cash needs, plan intercompany transfers, and identify funding or currency gaps before payments are due.

  • Maintain short- and long-term entity's cash forecasts. Validate cash balances, AP data, and business assumptions, and investigate missing items or timing differences.
  • Turn AP balances and settlement schedules into intercompany funding plans. Coordinate transfer amounts, currencies, value dates, approvals, and lead times across entities and jurisdictions.
  • Identify FX conversion needs and currency-specific funding gaps, then coordinate with the teams responsible for execution.
  • Capture planned funding top-ups and exceptional payments, including tax, transfer pricing, and other non-trade items, in the appropriate forecast period and entity.
  • Compare actual cash movements with forecasts, investigate variances, update assumptions, and flag potential shortfalls early.
  • Work closely with business teams, entity finance, and other Treasury teams to confirm inputs and follow through on funding actions.
  • Use spreadsheets or relevant tools to consolidate and reconcile large volumes of data. Support process improvements and treasury system projects where needed.

Job Requirements

  • 5 years experience in corporate treasury, with hands-on exposure to cash forecasting, liquidity planning, or intercompany funding.
  • Understanding of AP and AR flows, cross-border transfers, and FX requirements in a multi-entity business.
  • Having a background in banking is preferrable.
  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to reconcile large datasets, identify discrepancies, and explain forecast variances.
  • Good judgment when working with incomplete or changing information, with close attention to amounts, currencies, and payment dates.
  • Ability to coordinate with stakeholders across business, finance, and Treasury and communicate funding needs clearly.
  • Experience supporting process improvements or treasury projects is an advantage.
  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, and proficiency in English.
