We are looking for a Compliance Associate to join the dynamic Legal Compliance and Regulatory Affairs team in Traveloka. This is an essential role where you will be contributing to ensure that the organization operates within the legal framework and adheres to industry regulations. Your primary focus will be on Data Protection and Privacy.

The Compliance Associate will be reporting to the Legal Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Lead and based in the Traveloka office in BSD, Tangerang.

The scope of responsibilities for the Compliance Associate Data Privacy is to:

(i) Lead the effort to ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations in all Regions including management of Privacy Notice, Data Protection Impact Assessment, Record of Processing Activities, AI Compliance, etc;

(ii) To act as Data Protection Officer for relevant Group entity;

(iii) To ensure everyone in the Company being updated of laws and regulations in particular related to personal data protection and cybersecurity;

(iv) To ensure the relevant PDP and AI governance of policies and procedures for the whole company group; and

(v) To deliver and support training and compliance socialization programs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Law.
• Experience of 3-5 years handling legal and compliance matters in a law firm or as in-house Legal in a Company.
• Having exposure or experience in handling Data Privacy and Personal Data Protection matters is a must.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Solid understanding of Indonesian corporate laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical thinking.
• Must be willing to collaborate with other legal functions and business units.
• Quick learner of the business and legal process.
